- We are located in a small, quiet neighborhood in a country setting just outside of Waimea town. Waimea, also known as Kamuela, is nine miles and 2,500 feet above the "gold coast" of west Hawaii, home of Hawaii's finest luxury hotels and the world's acknowledged most beautiful beaches.
- Waimea is home to Parker Ranch, the largest in the U.S., where Hawaiian cowboys (paniolo) still ride and rope, live and work, in the ways of their ancestors.
- Waimea is home base for the astronomy community that has grown around the famous Mauna Kea Observatory, the highest in the world, at the 13,796 foot summit.
