Ecotourism measures we have implemented at this B & B.

• Large solar water heater on the main house.
• Earth friendly, biodegradable soaps used whenever possible.
• A baking soda mixture as well as non chlorine bleach solution used for mildew removal.
• All guest bathrooms have just received new fixtures which use low energy saving light bulbs.
• Energy star rated washing machine and propane gas dryer to reduce the amount of water and electricity used.
• Our guest books have detailed information about our active recycling program for plastic numbers 1, 2 and 5 as well as glass, tin, newspaper and mixed paper. Guests can deposit these in recycle bins or we will handle recycling throughout your stay.
• Local produce from the farmers market washed with an earth friendly fruit and vegetable wash.
• Use bulk products such as shampoo and conditioner that can be used to reduce excess packaging.
• Conserve water with low flush toilets and flow control shower heads.
• A new Composting program is under way
