  • We are located in a small, quiet neighborhood in a country setting just outside of Waimea town. Waimea, also known as Kamuela, is nine miles and 2,500 feet above the "gold coast" of west Hawaii, home of Hawaii's finest luxury hotels and the world's acknowledged most beautiful beaches.
  • Waimea is home to Parker Ranch, the largest in the U.S., where Hawaiian cowboys (paniolo) still ride and rope, live and work, in the ways of their ancestors.
  • Waimea is home base for the astronomy community that has grown around the famous Mauna Kea Observatory, the highest in the world, at the 13,796 foot summit.
  • Waimea is a mecca for artists and artisans whose work can be found in the superb galleries lining the main street. It is also renowned for its fine restaurants whose chefs specialize in mouth-watering dishes made from the fresh produce of the surrounding farms, ranches, and tropical waters.
  • The Kohala Coast is an ocean-lover's paradise with aquamarine waters teeming with tropical fish, green sea turtles, manta rays, dolphins, and in the winter months, whales breaching and playing off-shore.
  • Magnificent Mauna Kea is practically in our back yard with its array of international observatories, nightly stargazing from the visitor's center and profound sacred sites.
  • North Kohala boasts the quiet unspoiled beauty and charm of rural plantation towns.
  • Here hiking trails lead to remote valleys and an unforgettable black sand beach.
  • The historic Hamakua coast and the world-renowned Waipi'o Valley are sights not to be missed.
